International Culture Exchange College

    International Culture Exchange College was founded in 2001, it is a college of Dalian Business Institute which is responsible for recruiting and managing students from foreign countries and developing to start cooperation with foreign countries. It is also a window for us to know the world. It has established a long, close relationship with several universities in the United States, England, Australia, Korea, Russia and Japan among others. And we have also started activities of Educational, cultural, academic and students' exchanges. At present we have short-term and long-term foreign students from Korea, Japan, Australia, Russia etc.
There are 9 full-time teachers in International Culture Exchange College, most of whom know several languages and are experienced both in teaching and managing. They can teach Chinese to the foreign students and meanwhile they could also engage in starting to develop cooperation programs. We also organized a stable team of visiting teachers composed of over 10 teachers, most of whom are experts in teaching foreign students Chinese and professors, associate professors who are Chinese teaching certificate holders.
    Unique teaching character and good teaching condition. In order to provide a nice environment for the student to study Chinese here, our institute are fully equipped with laboratories, computers and large screen teaching facilities. We insist on teaching in a smaller group. The number of students in each class ranges from 10 to 15. Teaching in a smaller group is a dramatic language teaching character in our institute. We can also adopt one to one teaching method if needed. In this way, students get a lot of opportunities to practice their listening, speaking, reading and writing. They will make great improvement in a very short time possible. We think that only by forced training to gather the student together can the foreign students learn Chinese faster and better. Students need to complete 30 units each week and give them as much chance as possible to practice but not beyond their pressure. In order to enhance the communication and exchanges with Chinese students, improve fast their Chinese social ability, Teachers often communicate with the foreign students after class and organize students to attend language practical activities regularly. Foreign students can choose home-stay to study, too. If the foreign students require, we could also arrange a Chinese teacher's family with safe single room as well as bath facility for them to stay to taste real life and culture of Chinese family, and to provide good opportunities to improve their Chinese social ability.
    With the coming of internalization and modernization, with the aim of letting the world know our nation and our culture, we are determined to train international talents who know more about Chinese economy and business.

1. Unique teaching character.
1) smaller-size class. Students in each class range from 10 to15. Foreign students are studying in the same class.
